Terry Adams - They Walked on Water

Desire and Expectation
By Laurence Torr

God bless you abundantly, in the name of Christ Jesus.

God is so wonderful, and many doors are opening up
for us to declare God Word, and make know what is available
through Christ Jesus. What an honour we have to be ambassadors
for God and the Lord Jesus Christ.

We had Lisa Rotenberg from Germany who stayed
with Us, Lisa is 18 and has such a big desire to learn and do
Gods Word, and she really wants to meet our Youth.
and to learn how we are moving the Word of God here in the United Kingdom.
and around the World.

I think this is so wonderful that the youth all over the World
are rising up and more youth will come to all of our fellowships
as well as adults too.

We just need to pray to the Lord of the Harvest
to send to us the labourers, this is so important part of receiving
the new people and God will send them to us as we desire
and go to him and ask him for the labourers.

Since We have started to pray to the Lord of Harvest to send us
the labourers what i call the hungry hearts, those that are seeking and really want
to know the truth of Gods Word, God has blessed us greatly.

We have come from a handful of people in UK to a room packed
with new youth and adults we have gone from one fellowship to
5 fellowships in Bristol and God has open doors in Oxford, London &
Bath in the UK to Opening doors and fellowships with believers in other
countries such as India, Finland, France, Norway, Ireland, Germany, Spain,
Portugal, USA, and we pray and believe many more doors will open up
in other Euopean countires and we know they will open too.
why do we know because God is Faithful.

We continue to pray for you, that the Word will grow mightly in your
countries and areas where you live and move the Word and that
God sends to you many labourers for His harvest as the labourers are few.

The Job is to big to do it, in our own strenghten or ability.

example
Zerubbabel tried do things in his own strength ( read the record yourself )

Zechariah 4:6-7
6 - Then he answered and spake unto me, saying, This is the word of the LORD unto Zerubbabel, saying, Not by might, nor by power, but by my spirit, saith the LORD of hosts.

v7- Who art thou, O great mountain? before Zerubbabel thou shalt become a plain: and he shall bring forth the headstone thereof with shoutings, crying, Grace, grace unto it.

Philippians 2:13
For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure.

Philipians 4:13
I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me

Psalms 127: 1
Except the LORD build the house, they labour in vain that build it: except the LORD keep the city, the watchman waketh but in vain

God has to be leading us, it not how we think we should move the Word
to see genuine groweth, it has to be from God not our own efforts or idea's.

So we pray that God will open up great doors for you to delcare His Word.
Desire greatly, that God will send to you the labourers
and also expect great groweth.

We also need to be Bold and delcare the Father to who ever God puts in our paths.

DESIRE & EXPECTATION

God always reminds me of the woman
with the issue of Blood, of Her great desire to receive deliverance
she spent all she had on doctors and was still not healed but grew worse.
by her actions you could see her great desire, she searched everywhere
and spent all she had but still was not healed.

She heard about Jesus and how He was healing everyone
and she sought him out she must of rehearsed what she was going to do.
and when she saw Jesus she said within her self
if i touch the hem of his garment i shall be made whole
(here we see her Expectation ) . WOW.
She also had to make her way through the multitudes of people
surrounding Jesus.

LOOK at the desire & expectation of this woman, and when she touched
the hem of his garment she received her healing.
Her believing activated the power of God in Jesus Christ.
Jesus actually felt power leave him,
and that is when he stop and said who touched me, just imagine this
whole scene.

When Jesus saw the woman she explained to him what
had happened to her, he told her your faith has made you whole go in peace.
what a great example of desire and expectation and Faith for us to see
from God's Word.

Another great key and example to receiving thoses promises
of God is Abraham, the big key here is once God made his
promise to Abraham, Abraham didnt consider his circumstance.

He staggered not at the promises of God through unbelief but was strong in faith
FULLY PERSUASED, that what God had promised GOD was also able
to perform.

In other words to Abraham what God said, God meant and
Abraham knew it would happened, this was his expectation that God
would deliver to Abraham what God had promise and so Abraham received,
25 years Abraham had to wait to see the baby.

It is intresting to see that Jesus instructed the 12 disciples in Matthew 9.
to prayer to the Lord of the Harvest
And Jesus also instructed the same thing to the other seventy also.
Great note to recognise is that it is God's Harvest.

God is the one that opens the doors to speak His word to others,
God is the one, that sends the labourers so that His Word will move the way
that God wants it to move. we are worker together with God ( 1corin 6:1 )

So God would have us go to him with everything,
God wants us to look only to Him.

For it is God who know the best way to
move His Word, For it is God that knows what is in the heart of an individual
and He knows how best to meet that individual needs and where they should be.

He it is that gives the increase, our job is to develope our relationship with God
to be led by the spirit of God ( Romans 8:14 )

Jesus Christ spent much time in prayer with the Father,
you can note from the gospel where it is recorded
in many diffirent places that after Jesus had spent a night or much time in prayer
that he did some wonderful miracles, and made some great decisions.

Luke 6: 12-16
12 And it came to pass in those days, that he went out into a mountain to pray, and continued all night in prayer to God.
13 And when it was day, he called unto him his disciples: and of them he chose twelve, whom also he named apostles;
14 Simon, (whom he also named Peter,) and Andrew his brother, James and John, Philip and Bartholomew,
15 Matthew and Thomas, James the son of Alphaeus, and Simon called Zelotes,
16 And Judas the brother of James, and Judas Iscariot, which also was the traitor

Before choosing the 12 twelve jesus spent all night in prayer what do you think he was praying about do you think God showed to Jesus whom he would chose?

Jesus Christ always did the father will, Jesus Christ said me and my father are one
He didnt do nothing with God showing Him and leading him. He is our greatest
example of how to Look only to God and how to move Gods Word.

Matthew 9: 37-38
37Then saith he unto his disciples, The harvest truly is plenteous, but the labourers are few;
38Pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he will send forth (ekballo) labourers into his harvest.

Luke10: 1-2
1 After these things the LORD appointed other seventy also, and sent them two and two before his face into every city and place, whither he himself would come.
2 Therefore said he unto them, The harvest truly is great, but the labourers are few: pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he would send forth (ekballo) labourers into
his harvest

I Corinthians 3: 4-9
4 For while one saith, I am of Paul; and another, I am of Apollos; are ye not carnal?
5 Who then is Paul, and who is Apollos, but ministers by whom ye believed, even as the Lord gave to every man?
6 I have planted, Apollos watered; but God gave the increase.
7 So then neither is he that planteth any thing, neither he that watereth; but God that giveth the increase.
8 Now he that planteth and he that watereth are one: and every man shall receive his own reward according to his own labour.
9 For we are labourers together with God: ye are God's husbandry, ye are God's building.

Act 2:47
47 Praising God, and having favour with all the people. And the Lord added to the church daily such as should be saved.

Romans 10:15
15And how shall they preach, except they be sent? as it is written, How beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace, and bring glad tidings of good things

Fully persuaded

Romans 4:19-25
19And being not weak in faith, he considered not his own body now dead, when he was about an hundred years old, neither yet the deadness of Sarah's womb:
20He staggered not at the promise of God through unbelief; but was strong in faith, giving glory to God;
21And being fully persuaded that, what he had promised, he was able also to perform.
22And therefore it was imputed to him for righteousness.
23Now it was not written for his sake alone, that it was imputed to him;
24But for us also, to whom it shall be imputed, if we believe on him that raised up Jesus our Lord from the dead;
25Who was delivered for our offences, and was raised again for our justification.

Woman with the issue of blood

Mark 5:25-34
25And a certain woman, which had an issue of blood twelve years,
26And had suffered many things of many physicians, and had spent all that she had, and was nothing bettered, but rather grew worse,
27When she had heard of Jesus, came in the press behind, and touched his garment.
28For she said, If I may touch but his clothes, I shall be whole.
29And straightway the fountain of her blood was dried up; and she felt in her body that she was healed of that plague.
30And Jesus, immediately knowing in himself that virtue had gone out of him, turned him about in the press, and said, Who touched my clothes?
31And his disciples said unto him, Thou seest the multitude thronging thee, and sayest thou, Who touched me?
32And he looked round about to see her that had done this thing.
33But the woman fearing and trembling, knowing what was done in her, came and fell down before him, and told him all the truth.
34And he said unto her, Daughter, thy faith hath made thee whole; go in peace, and be whole of thy plague.

Much love to you
